Getting a feel for the Nikon D5000 with three tele lenses. Nikkor 55-200 Nikkor 18-55 Nikkor 70-300 Lighting was from a 95 watt house lamp with a yellow lamp shade attached. Tripod was a cheap dynex video tripod. I was too lazy to go and get the manfrotto. So there is wobble in the video and shake. In my opinion the video is decent, I will be using this d5000 as a B camera to my HMC150 for some shoots. Definitely not the best camera for DSLR video but with a decent lens collection I feel it’s very possible to create some very extraordinary scenes in the right hands. There is a lot of CMOS “wobble” when moving around too much, a good tripod is highly recommended.
